James advises and represents domestic and foreign clients across all areas of liability and insurance law as well as general commercial and contract law.

One particular focus of his practice is Specialty Lines and Financial Lines (D&O, professional indemnity, fidelity, and cyber) as well as reinsurance. He regularly advises insurance carriers on coverage issues and represents them in coverage disputes.

James also advises and represents clients in complex liability matters, including management liability, professional liability (e.g. legal and medical malpractice), product liability, government liability, as well as motor and railway liability.

A seasoned litigator, he appears before all Swiss courts and authorities and represents clients in domestic and international arbitration proceedings. He is a native speaker of English and German.
